The exhibition features Galileo Chini, one of the most prominent figures of international Modernism, and some artists who have shared the experiences of the period with him, from Symbolism to Liberty, from the Viennese Secession to suggestions of Orientalism. The theme of the exhibition will be water, a recurring subject in those artistic movements that, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, identified with Symbolism and Divisionism.
